VITICULTURE
Grapes sourced from Marechal Foch vines lovingly cultivated in soils comprised of silt, glacial rock and gravel at the Buchler family’s organic Park Hill Vineyard in Oliver, BC.

VINIFICATION
Half fermented in oak foudre. Afterwards, the wine rests for 7 months in neutral French and American oak.

WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTE
This full-bodied red is classic Okanagan Foch. The nose is ripe with juicy black cherries, blackberries and a hint of chocolate, followed by notes of leather, sweet tobacco, strawberry and cherry on the palate. Mouthwatering acidity, supple tannins, and a medium finish make this wine a delightful accompaniment to any meal.

PAIRING SUGGESTION
Best enjoyed with roasted, grilled and smoked meats, hearty winter stews, and tomato-based pasta dishes.
