VITICULTURE
Grown and produced organically in Southern Okanagan vineyards. A slightly cooler 2018 vintage allowed grapes to ripen gradually, resulting in amazing flavour intensity and ripe tannins.
VINIFICATION
All varieties were fermented separately before being carefully blended after 6 months of barrel aging. The Cabernet Franc and Syrah portions were both fermented in large oak tanks.
WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTE
Medium bodied and deep ruby in colour with aromas of intense bruised plum, redcurrant, vanilla and spice. Round on the palate with smooth, light tannins and flavours of ripe dark plum, red cherry, and blackberry with inviting vanilla spice on the midpalate.
PAIRING SUGGESTION
Enjoy with grilled skirt steak, portobello mushrooms, and charred vegetables, or lounging around a campfire with friends.
